We are seeking a
Compliance Surveillance Analyst
to support communication monitoring and compliance review activities for a leading financial institution. The role involves reviewing flagged communications, conducting investigations, escalating potential concerns, and ensuring timely resolution in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review and assess flagged communications on a daily basis.
Investigate potential compliance concerns and escalate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Track cases through to closure within established timelines and service standards.
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate documentation of reviews, findings, and outcomes.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory, client, and internal compliance requirements.
Complete mandatory bank training and comply with firm policies and procedures.
Requirements
Business-level proficiency in
Japanese and English
(both written and spoken), with the ability to effectively communicate with Japan-based stakeholders and regional teams.
Experience in
financial services compliance, surveillance, risk, audit, or regulatory monitoring
environments.
Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to review sensitive communications.
Excellent written English skills for case documentation and escalation reports.
Comfortable working with secure bank systems and remote access environments.
Additional Asian language capabilities are an advantage.
