Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead software development operations, system integration projects, and enterprise application solutions, ensuring timely delivery and scalable, secure software aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects to deliver quality solutions aligned with business objectives on schedule
Oversee design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise software and integrated business solutions
Manage projects involving electronic invoicing, InvoiceNow, Peppol network integration, and GST-related accounting systems
Provide technical leadership in software architecture, application development, database design, API development, and third-party system integration
Supervise software developers and technical staff by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and conducting code reviews
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business users, and external technology partners to gather requirements and develop technical solutions
Establish and maintain software development standards, technical documentation, quality assurance processes, and version control practices
Identify and resolve technical challenges, application performance issues, system integration problems, and software defects
Manage project schedules, technical resources, implementation milestones, and software deployment activities
Ensure compliance of software applications with data security, privacy, system reliability, and regulatory requirements
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to software platforms, architecture, and operational processes
Provide ongoing technical support, system maintenance oversight, and continuous improvement of deployed software solutions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile project management practices
Expertise in software architecture, application development, and API/system integration
Proficiency in SQL and relational database management
Experience with enterprise software solutions and electronic invoicing platforms including InvoiceNow and Peppol E-Invoicing Framework
Skills in software testing, quality assurance, data security, and application performance management
