Our client, a law firm, is looking for a dynamic, outgoing and well-connected Business Development & Marketing professional to drive the firm's business growth through relationship building, offline networking and strategic business development.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building meaningful business relationships and leveraging their existing professional network to generate new business opportunities.

Open to both lawyers and non-lawyers.

Candidates with legal knowledge or exposure to the legal industry will have an added advantage, but this is not compulsory.

Strong interpersonal, communication, networking and relationship-building skills.

An established professional or business network would be a significant advantage.

Well-connected with company secretaries, accountants, corporate clients, business owners, high-net-worth individuals, business associations or relevant professional communities.

Outgoing, confident and comfortable attending face-to-face meetings and networking functions.

Self-motivated, proactive and commercially minded, with a strong interest in business development.

Willing to travel locally and occasionally participate in cross-border business activities where required.

Business Development & Networking

Actively develop new business opportunities through face-to-face meetings, networking events, business associations, industry gatherings and professional networks.

Leverage existing connections and establish relationships with potential clients, business owners, corporate decision-makers and key industry players.

Build and maintain strong relationships with company secretaries, accountants, corporate service providers, business consultants, high-net-worth individuals and other relevant referral sources.

Participate in business delegations, client visits, corporate networking sessions and cross-border business activities

Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

Identify potential clients and business opportunities for the firm's legal services.

Introduce the firm's services to prospective clients and generate interest through effective relationship management.

Arrange introductory meetings and facilitate connections between prospective clients and the firm's lawyers.

Maintain a pipeline of business prospects and follow up on potential opportunities.

Marketing & Brand Representation

Represent the firm at business functions, networking events, industry associations and corporate gatherings.

Promote the firm's legal services through direct engagement, professional relationships and business networking.

Where comfortable, participate in personal branding initiatives, interviews, industry discussions and social media appearances to enhance the firm's visibility and market presence.

Business Relationship Management

Develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Identify potential strategic partnerships, referral arrangements and collaboration opportunities.

Keep abreast of business developments, industry trends and market opportunities to identify potential areas for the firm's expansion.
