Background: Our client is a global investment firm, an independent spinoff from a prominent New York hedge fund. Operating across Hong Kong, Singapore, London, New York and Dubai.

Role Purpose

• L3 Wintel Engineer - Loves to run Homelab on Windows Infrastructure System Server.
• Perform deep troubleshooting, analysis and implement preventive measures
• Perfect if this person can find loophole in our office environment
• Objective (Most Important): Maintain, optimize, and scale internal Windows server and desktop infrastructure to ensure elite performance, automation, and system reliability firm-wide.

Key Responsibilities

• System Optimization & Automation: Standardize and automate Windows environments using central, version-controlled scripts (PowerShell, Python, or C#).
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee core Windows desktop (Win 10/11) and server (2016–2022) environments to meet business-critical dependability goals.
• Global Collaboration: Work alongside international cross-functional teams to design solutions, troubleshoot incidents, execute seamless rollouts, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven track record working at a technical-driven environment as a hands-on Windows System Engineer
• Windows & Virtualization Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of modern Windows OS (Desktop & Server editions) and VMware environments.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or C# for infrastructure as code (IaC), automated provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Core Network Services: Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Kerberos, DNS, and Group Policy Management (GPO).
• Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Proven track record in diagnosing complex OS/application issues and optimizing hardware or virtual resources.
• Problem-Solving & Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities in high-pressure environments, paired with clear communication and a service-oriented mindset.
