About the Role

An expanding MNC manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on and proactive Assistant HR Manager to oversee plant-based Human Resources operations in Melaka.

This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations, maintaining compliance with Malaysian employment regulations, and supporting the company's workforce and business expansion. Working closely with the plant management team and reporting directly to the Head of HR at HQ, the successful candidate will serve as the key HR representative at the manufacturing plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience managing plant-based HR operations and supporting a sizeable workforce.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and industrial relations practices.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations and HR administration.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day HR matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Able to liaise effectively with plant management, employees and HQ stakeholders.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
