Key Responsibilities
Support daily manufacturing operations to ensure
production efficiency, product quality and achievement of operational targets
.
Monitor, evaluate and optimise manufacturing processes to
enhance productivity, plant capacity and overall operational performance
.
Identify production bottlenecks, investigate process abnormalities and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Analyse production data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for
process optimisation, cost reduction and continuous improvement
.
Participate in
engineering projects, process modifications and plant improvement initiatives
, focusing on energy efficiency, capacity enhancement and operational reliability.
Support
process safety, quality and regulatory compliance
through risk assessments, operating procedures and technical documentation.
Collaborate with
Operations, Maintenance, EHS and Quality teams
to troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable improvement solutions.
Prepare technical reports, track process improvement initiatives and contribute to production capacity planning and operational excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant process engineering experience
within the chemical manufacturing or petrochemical industry.
Knowledge of
process safety principles, risk assessments, HAZOP
or related methodologies.
Familiarity with
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
.
Knowledge of
SAP or other manufacturing management systems
would be advantageous.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement practical process improvements.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong commitment to
workplace safety, product quality and operational excellence
.
