Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Puchong. The Interior Designer will develop creative and functional interior concepts, including space planning, material selection, and FF&E specifications, in line with client requirements and project objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing design proposals, mood boards, and detailed drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and suppliers, and conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is maintained. The role also involves producing construction drawings and documentation, supporting project management activities such as timelines and budgets, and contributing to upgrading, refurbishment, and relocation projects. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the project team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Candidates should possess relevant Architecture knowledge to coordinate effectively with design and construction stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess the ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings to support implementation and site works.
• Candidates should possess FF&E expertise (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to select appropriate materials, finishes, and products.
• Candidates should have proficiency with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and strong visual presentation skills.
• Candidates should demonstrate good project coordination abilities, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with relevant industry experience, will be beneficial.
