We are looking for a motivated Junior Sommelier to support wine service, assist with wine list maintenance, and gain hands-on experience in a wine-focused hospitality environment. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for wine, basic certifications, and a desire to grow into a senior position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in wine service for guests, ensuring correct presentation and pouring techniques.

• Support senior sommelier in wine list curation and inventory management.

• Provide wine recommendations to guests with guidance from senior staff.

• Participate in wine tastings, pairing dinners, and events both in-house and at partner venues.

• Learn and maintain proper wine storage, cellar organization, and product knowledge.

• Attend ongoing training and professional development (e.g., WSET, CMS).

• Assist with wine merchandising, retail support, and bar operations if required.

Requirements:

• WSET Level 2 or equivalent (preferred, but not mandatory).

• 1+ year of restaurant, bar, or retail wine experience.

• Strong interest in wine, eager to grow in the industry.

• Team player with excellent communication skills.

• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and attend offsite events

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
