Job Scope of an Accountant

Prepare and maintain

financial records and accounts

Handle

accounts payable and accounts receivable

Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Perform

bank and account reconciliations

Manage

invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses

Assist with

budgeting and financial forecasting

Prepare documents for

tax filing and statutory requirements

Support

audits

and provide requested financial documentation

Monitor

cash flow and financial transactions

Ensure compliance with

accounting standards, company policies, and regulations

Identify and resolve

accounting discrepancies

Provide management with

financial information and analysis

for decision-making
