We are looking for an experienced
Data Center Liquid Cooling Engineer to support the design, integration, implementation, and optimization of liquid-cooling solutions for modern data center infrastructure.
The role focuses on liquid cooling distribution systems, Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), liquid-cooled server racks, manifolds, quick-connect hoses, and secondary-side piping systems. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of thermal management, cooling infrastructure, fluid distribution, and the operational requirements of high-density computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support liquid-cooling solutions for data center infrastructure.
- Work with cabinet-mounted and rack-mounted Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).
- Support the integration of liquid-cooled server racks and cooling distribution systems.
- Design, install, and maintain manifolds, quick-connect hoses, and secondary-side piping assemblies.
- Coordinate the integration of liquid-cooling equipment with server racks and data center infrastructure.
- Monitor cooling performance, coolant distribution, system pressure, flow, and temperature.
- Support system commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure reliable coolant circulation and effective thermal management for high-density computing equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve cooling efficiency, reliability, maintainability, and system performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver integrated cooling solutions.
- Support preventive maintenance, technical documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Travel across Southeast Asia to support project implementation, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site technical coordination.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience with data center cooling systems or industrial cooling infrastructure.
- Knowledge of liquid-cooling technologies and thermal management principles.
- Understanding of coolant distribution systems, piping, manifolds, and fluid connections.
- Familiarity with pumps, valves, hoses, and cooling-system components.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, system layouts, and equipment specifications.
- Experience with installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of cooling systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness and ability to undertake mandatory international travel across Southeast Asia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with liquid cooling for high-performance computing (HPC), AI infrastructure, or high-density server environments.
- Experience with cabinet-mounted or rack-mounted CDUs.
- Knowledge of liquid-cooled server racks and integrated cooling modules.
- Experience with secondary-side cooling distribution and prefabricated piping assemblies.
- Familiarity with quick-connect couplings and leak prevention in liquid-cooling systems.
- Understanding of cooling-system monitoring, pressure management, flow control, and temperature regulation.
- Experience optimizing energy efficiency and cooling-system reliability in data centers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate combines practical engineering knowledge with experience in liquid-cooling systems and data center infrastructure. They should understand how cooling distribution equipment, server racks, piping, and monitoring systems work together to maintain stable operating conditions for high-density computing environments.
Candidates with hands-on experience in CDU integration, liquid-cooling commissioning, thermal management, and troubleshooting will be particularly suitable. T
he candidate must also be comfortable with mandatory international travel across Southeast Asia to support project activities and on-site technical requirements.
