Role Description The English Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role involves planning and delivering engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support language development. The teacher will create a positive classroom environment, manage daily classroom activities, and integrate character-building and wellbeing into learning experiences. Additional responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, maintaining accurate records, communicating regularly with parents and guardians, and participating in school events, meetings, and co-curricular activities as needed. The English Teacher will collaborate closely with colleagues and school leadership to support a holistic education for all students.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience guiding students in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
  • Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design curriculum-aligned lessons and assessments.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A recognized degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Cambridge or other international curricula, and familiarity with holistic, student-centered approaches to learning.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom, manage diverse learning needs, and use basic educational technology tools.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, adaptability, and commitment to student wellbeing and school values.
