Principal / Senior Software Test Engineer

Our client, a Singapore-based automotive tech company building AI-powered computing platforms for software-defined vehicles, is looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to drive integration, verification, and quality assurance for next-generation smart cockpit software stacks.

What you'll do:

• Develop software test plans based on the product roadmap
• Analyze functional/non-functional requirements and define chip and software testability requirements
• Design test strategies for Smart Cockpit software stacks on Android or Linux
• Run product performance and user experience testing, optimizing for energy efficiency
• Conduct quality assessments across product delivery stages
• Identify risks in products and processes, and drive continuous testing improvements

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's + 5 years, or Master's + 3 years, in testing (IT, Electronics, Automation, Software, Communications, or related)
• Familiarity with low-level software testing (Bootloader, UFS/DDR, high-speed/low-speed buses, functional safety) or multimedia software testing (Camera, GPU, Display, Audio, Video)
• Exposure to intelligent cockpit software stack testing; chip IP testing experience a plus
• Familiarity with Android/Linux/QNX and user scenarios preferred
• Functional safety and virtualization testing experience a plus
• Strong technical vision, analytical skills, and ability to lead team technical advancement
