Treasury Trade Support / Derivatives Operations Analyst | Global Commodities Trading House | Singapore

We are partnering with a leading global commodities trading house to hire a Treasury Trade Support / Derivatives Operations Analyst based in Singapore.

Sitting at the intersection of trading operations and treasury, you will support the Oil, Gas and Carbon businesses by managing the cash, collateral and settlement flows behind the trades, working with internal stakeholders and external banks, brokers, exchanges and counterparties.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing collateral, margin calls and exchange/broker margin funding, and monitoring counterparty and credit risk exposures
• Validating and approving broker invoice payments, and supporting settlement and payment workflows across trades
• Reconciling trades, costs and fees between ETRM systems and counterparties, brokerages and exchanges, and resolving breaks and discrepancies
• Issuing trade confirmations, contracts and invoices, and resolving mismatches and amendments
• Handling Carbon Emissions Credits through delivery and payment processes, including inventory administration across registries
• Administering exchange accounts (ICE, CME, SGX), including trading limits, fees and user setups
• Working with regional banks and custodians on accounts, payments and cash movements
• Acting as a subject matter expert on new business and product initiatives
• Ensuring practices comply with internal control guidelines and external regulations

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in treasury, trade support, or middle/back office operations within commodities, banking or related markets
• Hands-on exposure to collateral or margin management, cash and payments, or derivatives settlements
• Strong reconciliation skills with rigorous attention to detail and a track record of resolving booking and P&L discrepancies
• Proficiency in Excel, with comfort in formula-driven spreadsheets, lookups and reconciliation techniques
• Familiarity with trade/order management systems, exchange processes and margining workflows
• A strong communicator who stays reliable under time pressure and takes proactive ownership

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with bank relationships, custodians, or invoicing/ERP systems
• Commercial awareness of Oil, LNG or Carbon trading conventions and OTC bilateral mechanics
• Experience with carbon registries and carbon contract workflows
• Exposure to OSN/Dubai partial structures and physical delivery contract generation
• Basic scripting or automation skills (Power Query, VBA or equivalent)
