Are you passionate about pastry and looking to build your skills in a professional, fast-paced kitchen?

All Things Delicious is looking for a Pastry Commis Chef to join our Central Kitchen team at Burn Road. You’ll work alongside experienced pastry chefs and gain hands-on exposure to cakes, pastries, desserts and high-volume production for our restaurant, catering, corporate and e-commerce business.

What You'll Do

• Assist with daily preparation and production of cakes, pastries and desserts.
• Prepare ingredients and mise en place according to recipes and production schedules.
• Assist with mixing, baking, assembling, decorating and finishing.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation and portion control.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Keep the pastry kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.
• Support large-volume catering and festive production.
• Work closely with senior pastry chefs and develop professional pastry techniques.
• Minimise wastage and use ingredients and equipment responsibly.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of pastry or bakery experience preferred.
• Relevant pastry/culinary qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
• Passion for pastry and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
