Responsibilities

Daily Office & Store Admin

• Process invoices, delivery notes and basic paperwork so records stay accurate and up to date.
• Handle data entry tasks into our stock and sales spreadsheets, ensuring numbers match physical records.
• Maintain filing systems and organise documents for easy retrieval by store managers and finance.
• Support simple cash handling checks and prepare basic daily summaries for supervisors.

Inventory & Stock Support

• Count and record stock during routine checks and assist with stock adjustments when discrepancies occur.
• Coordinate with store staff to log incoming deliveries and confirm quantities against orders.
• Help prepare basic stock transfer documents between stores and warehouses to keep supplies balanced.
• Monitor expiry dates and label items for quick identification by store teams.

Communication & Coordination

• Act as a point of contact for suppliers and couriers on basic queries and delivery confirmations.
• Relay information between front-line staff and supervisors so operational issues are addressed promptly.
• Support simple scheduling tasks such as rostering backups and documenting shift changes.
• Prepare brief reports or notes summarising day-to-day admin issues for management review.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in retail admin, clerk roles or similar operations support positions.
• Secondary school pass or equivalent; certificate in office administration is an advantage but not required.
• Prior exposure to store operations, deliveries and basic cash procedures in a retail environment.
• Comfortable working in a team that supports fast-moving store needs and occasional physical tasks.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in data entry with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and tables for record keeping.
• Familiarity with inventory counting, stock reconciliation and simple filing systems.
• Basic understanding of invoices, delivery notes and store paperwork procedures.
