Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Plan, organize, and supervise daily sheet metal cutting schedules to hit strict manufacturing deadlines.
• Material & Cost Control: Optimize nesting layouts to drive maximum material utilization and keep scrap metal production to a minimum.
• Quality & Safety: Control cutting precision, enforce safety rules for heavy material handling, and maintain clean shop floor standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Manage and perform routine, daily preventative maintenance checks for CNC Laser, Plasma, and Shearing machines.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, assign tasks to, and train shop-floor operators and machine technicians to enhance team performance.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3–5 years of working experience in sheet metal fabrication, steel structures, or heavy machinery industries. At least 2 years must be in a supervisory role.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of various steel grades/properties and extensive technical familiarity with CNC laser cutting/flame cutting, shearing, and bending operations.
• Software Proficiency: Competent in AutoCAD and highly skilled in professional nesting software such as Cypnest, Cypcut, Tubest, Tubest H, and Tubepro.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
