Accounts Data Entry Clerk (SAP) – Contract
Job Responsibilities
Perform accurate and timely data entry of accounting transactions into the SAP system.
Input and process supplier invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
Verify and cross-check accounting entries against supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) data entry.
Maintain and update accounting records, databases and filing systems.
Assist with reconciliation of accounting records and preparation of basic accounting reports.
Liaise with the Accounts Department to clarify discrepancies and obtain missing information.
Perform other accounting data entry and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum GCE 'O' Level, LCCI or equivalent qualification. Accounting background preferred.
Prior hands-on experience with SAP accounting software is preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant accounts data entry or accounting experience.
Basic understanding of accounting transactions and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently, efficiently and meet deadlines.
Responsible, meticulous and well-organised.
Able to commence work at short notice will be an advantage.
