Job Summary
Bastille seeks a friendly Front of House Service Crew to deliver warm customer experiences and support daily bakery operations, ensuring smooth service and collaboration with kitchen teams.
Responsibilities
Greet and engage customers warmly to create a welcoming atmosphere
Accurately take customer orders and process payments efficiently
Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and espresso-based drinks, to meet customer expectations
Warm up and serve hot sandwiches, including ala minute preparation of a few food items
Maintain cleanliness and attractive presentation of dining and service areas throughout shifts
Replenish product displays to ensure fresh and appealing presentation
Provide informed product recommendations and respond to customer enquiries clearly
Perform daily opening and closing tasks to support bakery operations
Assist with food and drink packing for event deliveries
Collaborate closely with kitchen and bakery teams to deliver seamless customer service
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, or bakery front-of-house service
Strong customer service skills demonstrated through positive interactions with customers
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Effective communication skills in English to assist customers and coordinate with team members
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Barista experience to prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages
