Key Responsibilities

·      Lead daily quality-control activities for precision machining and assembly operations.

·      Establish and maintain incoming, first-piece, in-process and final inspection methods.

·      Review drawings, GD&T, specifications and customer quality requirements.

·      Prepare inspection plans, control plans, check sheets and measurement instructions.

·      Investigate defects, NCRs and customer issues using structured root-cause methods.

·      Implement corrective and preventive actions with Production and Engineering.

·      Monitor dimensional trends, process capability, rejection, rework and defect recurrence.

·      Support FAI, NPI, process validation and customer quality documentation.

·      Guide Quality Inspectors on measurement methods and acceptance criteria.

·      Support calibration and proper use of measuring equipment.

·      Drive practical shop-floor improvements to prevent defects from moving downstream.

Job Requirements

·      Diploma or equivalent technical qualification with strong hands-on quality skills.

·      Minimum 3 years of quality engineering/quality-control experience in manufacturing.

·      Competent in engineering drawings, GD&T and common dimensional measurement equipment.

·      Working knowledge of FAI, NCR/CAPA, 8D, SPC and root-cause analysis.

Ableto work closely with machinists, supervisors and customers to solve quality issues.
