KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand the business processes and partner with relevant stakeholders, including solution architects, software developers and end users, to gather requirements and support system design, application development, enhancement and maintenance
Work closely with various technical, solution, and information architects to ensure that the application developed is robust and aligned with the Enterprise Architecture.
Design solutions that are high quality and functional, ensuring a good user experience.
Plan, track and manage application system enhancements and maintenance activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Conduct and support thorough system, user, and security testing pre-release.
Provide ongoing application support and work with product and engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
Monitor application performance and service reliability, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address issues in the production environment.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Technical experience in application system development, enhancement and maintenance across the system development lifecycle.
Experience in planning and delivering application development and maintenance work with cross-functional product teams and technical teams
Hands-on experience in Java application design, development, enhancement and maintenance; knowledge of JavaScript and SQL is a plus.
Experience in leading and managing a team of developers, including work planning, task allocation, technical guidance, progress monitoring and delivery oversight.
Proven track record of delivering effective products with limited resources.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including system documentation and technical writing.
Highly meticulous and tenacious, with the ability to follow through on tasks to closure.
Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, and to prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines.
A degree or diploma in computer science, product management, or a related field.
Experience with platforms such as Confluence and JIRA is a plus.
Certifications in Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis Professional are a plus.
