• Ensure that the highest quality standards of the catering services are maintained by proficient evaluation and assessment.
• Ensure legal compliance with existing hygiene and food safety legislation in accordance with Food Act 1983 (Act 281).
• Participate in the review process of annual improvement QHSE year plan and roadmap.
• Provide technical support and advice on Malaysian legislative (Food Act & Its Regulations) and company requirements on Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
• Prepare HACCP based food safety plans and manage the approval process with local authorities.
• To assist in developing a plan, securing certification and ongoing management of relevant certifications as directed by Operation Directors and QHSE Manager such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), HACCP, etc.)
• Arrange verification and validation activities aligned with FSMS as required.
• Participate in hygiene and food safety audits by external auditors.
• Conduct Food Safety Site Audit, recommendation, and propose corrective action plans and follow up.
• To assist on New Suppliers Audit in terms of standard hygiene practises and food safety on a regular basis, with the Purchasing Dept.
• To monitor Corrective Action Request (CAR) raised by units and to follow through vendors’ CAR replies with the Supply Chain team.
• Ensure all reported food safety related incidents are fully investigated and corrective actions completed.
• Communicate jointly with Unit Managers and Account Lead when client’s complaints arise.
• To update all Food Safety Incidents in SALUS monthly. (If any)
• Maintain hygiene and food safety statistics and generate accurate reports monthly.
• Set up educational programs and campaigns to promote a culture of hygiene and food safety and environmental awareness.
• Train our staffs on hygiene and food safety, environment, and quality related topics to operational teams and contract managers as appropriate
• Contribute to articles in the company’s regular communications and publications.
• Any other reasonably assigned duties from time to time.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
