Role Description The IT Application Operation role is a full-time hybrid position based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with some flexibility for working from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and supporting critical business applications, performing incident and problem analysis, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve application issues. The role involves handling user requests, documenting application procedures, and ensuring system stability and performance through regular checks and preventive maintenance. The team member will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand process requirements, propose improvements, and support application changes, upgrades, and testing. The position also requires adherence to internal standards, timely reporting, and participation in on-call or scheduled support rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess Application Support and Technical Support skills to handle incidents, service requests, and user assistance.
• Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with application architectures, databases, and operating systems.
• Candidates should possess Business Process understanding to align application operations with organizational workflows and service-level expectations.
• Relevant experience in IT operations, application administration, or production support in banking, insurance, or enterprise environments is beneficial.
• Good communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in hybrid teams, and strong documentation practices are required.
• A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITIL-based processes is an advantage.
