Role Summary

You will support financial institution clients as they implement and configure fraud and risk solutions. Working under the guidance of senior consultants, you will build and test rules, help with integrations and testing, and assist in presales activities. We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation and a genuine interest in fraud and risk, who is eager to learn our platform and grow into a Technical Consultant role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Configuration & Rule Development

• Build and test fraud rules, policies and decisioning logic on the platform, following client requirements and direction from senior consultants.
• Help translate fraud scenarios and business requirements into working rule logic, with review from senior team members.
• Assist with rule tuning by running data checks and reporting results on detection rates and false positives.
• Learn our platform, its rule engine and its tooling through hands-on work and structured training.

2. Implementation & Integration Support

• Assist with client onboarding and integration tasks (APIs, SDKs, data mapping).
• Help with testing, troubleshooting and logging issues, escalating to senior consultants where needed.
• Prepare test cases and test data, and support UAT and go-live activities.
• Handle basic configuration and support queries from clients in production, under supervision.

3. Presales Support

• Help set up demo environments, sample data and rule scenarios for solution demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Support the preparation of technical answers for RFPs/RFIs and client questions.
• Attend demos and technical workshops to learn how the platform is positioned and presented.

4. Client Communication

• Join client meetings, workshops and project calls, taking notes and following up on action items.
• Explain configuration and testing topics clearly to client teams, with support from senior consultants.
• Prepare simple documentation, such as meeting notes, configuration summaries and test results.

5. Analysis & Documentation

• Pull and review transaction and alert data to help check rule performance.
• Document rule specifications, process flows and configuration changes accurately.
• Support senior team members in looking into fraud cases and emerging patterns.

6. Team & Knowledge Sharing

• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, templates and checklists.
• Help prepare client training materials and handover documents.
• Build your knowledge of new platform features and industry fraud trends.

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience in a technical role, such as implementation, technical support, systems analysis, software or data, ideally in financial services, fintech or a rules-based system.
• Basic understanding of fraud and risk concepts (e.g. transaction monitoring, account takeover, payment fraud).
• Basic technical skills: understanding of APIs and JSON/XML, and the ability to work with data (SQL or Excel).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback and grow in a client-facing role.

Good to Have

• Exposure to rule engines, decisioning tools or a fraud platform (e.g. Feedzai, Featurespace, SAS, NICE Actimize, BioCatch, ThreatMetrix, or similar).
• Basic scripting or coding (Python, JavaScript or similar).
• Any experience in a client-facing, consulting or implementation environment.
• Experience with the banking or financial services sector.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data, Finance, Risk or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
