JOB VACANCY – QUANTITY SURVEYOR

A Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible in manages the commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of construction projects throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-tender to post-contract completion. Their role is to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining cost efficiency and contractual compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in tendering processes and familiarity with JKR e-Tender system.
• Strong knowledge and experience in pre-contract and post-contract administration, including preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Experience in claims preparation, site valuation, site measurement, and quantity taking-off.
• Able to prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and planning reports.
• Competent in preparing and maintaining project budgets, and cost forecasts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Willing to travel for project-related assignments.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
