Key Job Responsibilities

• Color Matching & Blending: Read formula cards or digital mixing instructions to combine base tints, colorants, and additives precisely.
• Viscosity Testing: Check the thickness and consistency of the mixed paint using specialized tools to ensure smooth application.
• Equipment Operation: Use automatic or manual shaker machines and heavy-duty electric mixing paddles to achieve uniform batches.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished mixtures for lumps, color accuracy, or contamination before packaging or issuing for use.
• Safety & Waste Management: Safely handle hazardous chemicals, wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and discard leftover thinners, solvents, and waste according to environmental regulations.
• Inventory Maintenance: Track stock levels of base paints, colorants, and mixing supplies, reporting shortages to management.
