About Us

We are a financial technology company that builds trading and capital market solutions for brokers and financial institutions. We’re looking for a database developer to help build and optimise the systems behind high-volume, real-time financial workflows.

What You’ll Do

- Design, develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, views and database schemas in MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL

- Write efficient, well-tested SQL for transactional and reporting workloads

- Analyse execution plans and tune queries and indexes for performance and low latency

- Make sure data stays accurate and consistent, using sound transaction handling, constraints and idempotent processing

- Work with application, QA and support teams on releases and production support

- Manage database changes through version control and keep documentation up to date

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on development experience with MSSQL (T-SQL) or PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL)

- Strong skills in complex queries, stored procedures, CTEs, window functions and indexing

- Good understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking and deadlock troubleshooting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication in English

Strong Plus

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Committed and dependable, with strong ownership of deliverables

- Experience with Java, Vue.js and RESTful API development

- Experience in fintech, banking, stockbroking or other high-volume transactional systems

- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g. SSIS), Git, or database CI/CD tools
