Human Resource Clerk – Job Scope
Maintain and update employee records, personnel files and HR databases.
Compile workers’ attendance, overtime, leave and medical leave records.
Assist with payroll preparation by checking timesheets and supporting documents.
Assist with work pass applications, renewals and cancellations under the HR person-in-charge’s supervision.
Monitor expiry dates for work passes, passports, insurance and training certificates.
Arrange medical check-ups, training courses and safety course registrations.
Prepare employment letters, HR forms and staff notices.
Coordinate onboarding and resignation documentation.
Assist with workers’ dormitory arrangements and update accommodation records.
Handle routine employee enquiries and refer other matters to the HR person-in-charge.
Provide filing, data entry and general administrative support.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
