We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Application Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and solutions to customers, with a strong focus on pump selection, preparation of accurate quotations, and managing the sales process through to shipment. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering knowledge with commercial acumen to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer inquiries and technical specifications to determine suitable pump selection.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and technical documents in line with customer requirements.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers during the pre-sales and post-sales process.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely order execution and shipment.
• Follow up with customers on quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, and order status in the CRM system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1~2 years of experience in pumps, rotating equipment, or related technical sales.
• Strong knowledge of pump applications, selection criteria, and system design considerations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Navision/CRM systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Marine Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
