Job Summary
Oversee daily transport and delivery operations, ensuring drivers complete their duties safely, on time, and according to company standards.
Responsibilities
Assign drivers, vehicles, and daily delivery routes to optimize operational efficiency
Monitor delivery progress and resolve delays or operational issues promptly to maintain schedule adherence
Ensure drivers comply with schedules, client instructions, and company procedures to uphold service quality
Inspect vehicle condition, cleanliness, and maintenance needs to guarantee safety and reliability
Manage driver attendance, punctuality, uniform standards, and discipline to maintain workforce professionalism
Coordinate communication between clients, drivers, and the Operations Manager to facilitate smooth operations
Verify accuracy of delivery records and proof of delivery documentation to support operational tracking
Report incidents, customer complaints, and operational updates to management for timely resolution
Provide hands-on support for deliveries when necessary to ensure service continuity
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Valid Class 3 driving license (preferred to support operational flexibility)
Salary: $2500 to $2800
