Job Description
- Identify, assess, and manage technology risks across the organisation.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies for the technology department.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Lead risk assessments and audits for technology systems and processes.
- Provide guidance on risk-related matters to support decision-making within the organisation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities and enhance security measures.
- Stay updated on emerging technology risks and propose proactive measures to address them.
A Successful Tech Risk Principal Should Have
- A strong understanding of technology risk management practices and frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and audits for technology systems.
- Proficiency in identifying and addressing technology vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A background in technology, cybersecurity, or related fields.
