Job Responsibilities

1. Source, identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors for the group's business operations, including trading, logisticsand construction.

2. Handle daily procurement activities including purchase requisitions, quotations, purchase orders and delivery follow ups.

3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and contract conditions to achieve cost-effective purchasing.

4. Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality and reliability.

5. Coordinate purchases of vehicle spare parts, workshop supplies, equipment, construction materials, office supplies and other operational requirements.

6. Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to avoid operational disruptions.

7. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, purchase documentation and pricing information.

8. Work closely with the Logistics, Operations, Construction and Accounts Departments to understand purchasing requirements.

9. Monitor supplier performance, product quality, delivery timelines and pricing competitiveness.

10. Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier improvements and procurement process efficiency.

11. Prepare procurement reports, purchasing summaries and cost comparisons for management review.

12. Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:
· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

· Preferably 3–5 years of working experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain operations.

· Experience in logistics, construction, trading or related industries will be an added advantage.

· Strong negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other relevant computer applications.

· Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
