About the role

Provides independent, senior-level review of code quality, architecture alignment, and engineering practice across all delivery partners contributing to the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent code review and secure coding review.
• Perform code quality assessment, including static-analysis metrics and quality-gate enforcement.
• Perform architecture alignment checks — implementation against intended design.
• Perform maintainability and technical-debt assessment.
• Review engineering standards, branching strategy, and CI/CD practices.
• Reviews should land continuously as code is written, not batched to the end of the testing window.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Senior or principal-level engineering background, ideally with prior independent/third-party code review experience.
• Familiarity with a modern microservices/cloud-native stack comparable to the platform's technology choices.
• Named individual required for proposal, with seniority matched to the complexity of the ask — a generalist tester relabelled as an architecture reviewer is not an acceptable substitute.
• Static analysis tooling (e.g. SonarQube, Semgrep), architecture review methodology, secure coding standards (e.g. OWASP Secure Coding Practices
