Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and other teaching activities in Marketing and related subjects as allocated by the Head of Department.
• Develop, review, and update lesson plans, teaching materials, learning activities, and assessment materials in line with programme and curriculum requirements.
• Contribute to the development, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality academic programmes and curriculum.
• Monitor and provide feedback on students’ academic progress, achievement, and attendance.
• Design, develop, administer, and mark examinations, assignments, projects, and other forms of assessment.
• Provide academic guidance, consultation, and support to students to enhance their learning experience and academic performance.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic activities, committees, and other university initiatives as required.
• Contribute to relevant research, scholarly, professional, or industry-related activities, where applicable.
• Maintain professional development and keep abreast of current developments and trends in Marketing and higher education.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• A PhD in Marketing or a related field will be an added advantage, particularly for the Senior Lecturer position.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a tertiary/higher education environment.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Marketing, with a broad subject background and the ability to contribute effectively to teaching programmes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to develop engaging teaching materials and deliver effective student-centred learning.
• Candidates with relevant industry experience, professional qualifications, research/publication experience, or curriculum development experience will have an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, committed, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of an academic team.
• Able to commence work immediately.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
