Job Summary:

The Group Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Group’s financial reporting and consolidation. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The position also manages budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and group-level performance analysis, while leading and developing the finance team. In addition, the Group Reporting Manager plays a key role in corporate exercises such as IPO readiness and supports senior management and the Board with high-quality financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Group financial reports.
• Lead the preparation and review of Group consolidation and forecasts in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review Group management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and segmental reporting with detailed variance analysis.
• Oversee statutory reporting and ensure full compliance with applicable financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate and manage the Group budgeting process, including preparation of EMC and Board of Directors (BoD) papers covering P&L, Balance Sheet, Capex, and Cash Flow analysis.
• Prepare and review Group Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and support the Annual Report process.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Support corporate exercises including IPO readiness and related financial requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, ensuring they are updated on the latest accounting standards and industry practices.

Qualifications/Experiences/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of MFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
• Strong expertise in Group consolidation.
• Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.

Systems:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance and accounting.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience in a mid-tier audit firm.

Key Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting standards and the ability to prepare a full set of accounts, including Group consolidation.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and quarterly announcements with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
