What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver Quality Patient Care: Provide attentive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, including basic ophthalmic procedures such as eye dressing, eye drop instillation and blood glucose monitoring.
• Support Surgical Procedures: Assist with operating theatre preparation, circulating duties, anaesthetic care and recovery room activities, according to clinical requirements.
• Monitor and Safeguard Patients: Observe and record vital signs, assess patients’ conditions and promptly escalate any concerns to the appropriate clinical team.
• Guide Patients Through Their Recovery: Provide clear pre-operative instructions, post-operative education and discharge guidance to patients and their caregivers.
• Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Prepare surgical instruments, equipment and consumables, assist with patient transfers and support efficient daily workflows.
• Maintain High Clinical Standards: Uphold infection control, patient safety and documentation requirements while keeping patient care areas clean, organised and well-stocked.
• Work as One Team: Collaborate with nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe, seamless and positive patient experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Recognised nursing qualifications.
• Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Relevant clinical experience preferred, with operating theatre experience an advantage for perioperative nursing duties.
• A patient-focused approach with strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Ability to stay composed, attentive and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support changing operational needs.
