Job Scope

• Supervise and monitor daily mechanical maintenance and facility operations to ensure all mechanical systems function efficiently.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works for mechanical equipment and building services.
• Monitor the operation and performance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, ventilation systems, plumbing and other related equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with technicians, contractors, subcontractors and relevant service providers.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify equipment faults, defects and potential mechanical system failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate necessary repair and rectification works.
• Ensure maintenance works are carried out according to approved procedures, technical specifications and safety requirements.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, service records, equipment performance and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate testing, inspection and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment when required.
• Monitor the availability of spare parts, tools, materials and equipment required for maintenance activities.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records and recommendations for equipment improvement or replacement.
• Ensure contractors comply with contractual obligations, maintenance standards and site safety procedures.
• Assist in planning and implementing maintenance programmes to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Liaise with building management, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities on mechanical facility matters.
• Perform other mechanical and facilities-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, facilities management or building services.
• Experience in building maintenance, engineering services or facility operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, ventilation, plumbing and related equipment.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment inspection.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical specifications and equipment manuals.
• Good knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety requirements and relevant technical standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised and able to manage maintenance activities and operational issues effectively.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with technicians, contractors and project teams.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,300.00 per hour
