How You Will Make An Impact

• Infrastructure Planning: Coordinate with government agencies, utility operators and stakeholders on underground infrastructure planning, approvals and optimisation.
• Engineering Design: Review engineering drawings, utility layouts and construction proposals to ensure technical feasibility, compliance and protection of existing telecommunications infrastructure.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate infrastructure installation, cable pulling and construction activities to ensure timely delivery, quality and safety.
• Site & Contractor Management: Conduct site inspections, resolve technical and construction issues, and coordinate with contractors to minimise network disruptions.
• Infrastructure Protection & GIS: Assess excavation applications and engineering risks, verify as-built drawings and maintain accurate GIS infrastructure records.
• Reporting & System Improvement: Prepare engineering reports, manage project documentation, review contractor claims and support testing of engineering system enhancements.
  
  

Skills For Success

• Diploma in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of infrastructure planning, engineering design and construction works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of underground utility coordination, telecommunications infrastructure and space optimisation.
• Good communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate contractors and government agencies.
