• Responsible for card-related systems, applications, and services, such as credit and debit card processing and related system integrations.

About the role

The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while collaborating closely with IT managers and project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT Managers and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate requirements into technical and functional specifications.
• Design, code, and enhance Java applications using appropriate frameworks, following coding standards and best practices.
• Prepare unit and integration test cases, execute tests, fix defects, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application issues, provide timely fixes and updates, and collaborate with QA and operations teams.
• Assist in estimating time, resources, and costs, and support project schedules and prioritization.
• Maintain technical documentation, share knowledge with team members, and contribute to best practices.
• Identify areas for performance, scalability, and code optimization, and implement improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams, participate in meetings and status updates, and report progress.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years in programming skills in Java, with experience in Spring Boot (mandatory), Spring, and Java EE.
• Responsible for card-related systems, applications, and services, such as credit and debit card processing and related system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Oracle DB, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
• Good knowledge of JSON, RESTful APIs, and Web Services.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
