The Role

Join Parkway Labs as a Despatcher and be part of a dedicated team supporting healthcare services across our network.

a. Responsible for the timely collection and despatch of reports / mail / packages adhering to schedules as designed to meet customer’s needs.

b. Responsible for the careful handling of packages in adherence to the policies of specimen handling as stipulated in the laboratory’s standard operating policies & procedures.

c. Maintenance of motorcycles to ensure vehicle is in good running condition.

d. Packing and despatching supplies.

e. Project good corporate image with proper grooming.

f. Any other duties as assigned from time to time by Logistic Executive management.

Key accountabilities

a. Planning of riding route to cover all requests of specimen pick-up and report delivery within allocated time frame daily.

b. When to refer case to Section Leader/Logistic Executive.

c. To give feedback regarding factors affecting efficiency of workflow.

d. To give feedback on client activities for marketing follow-up.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Simple comprehension of written and spoken English.
2. Class 2 motorcycle license required.
3. Class 3 driving license an added advantage.

Additional Information

a. No experience necessary. Though preferably 1-2 years courier or despatch experience.

b. Good interpersonal skills.
