Job Description

GPS Fleet Monitoring

• Monitor real-time vehicle locations, movement, routes, and operating status through the GPS tracking system.
• Track vehicle movements to ensure drivers follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Identify unauthorized vehicle usage, route deviations, unusual stops, and prolonged vehicle idling.
• Monitor vehicle speed and ensure compliance with company speed limits and road safety requirements.

Dashcam Monitoring

• Monitor live and recorded dashcam footage to observe driver behaviour and driving activities.
• Identify unsafe driving practices, including speeding, harsh braking, distracted driving, and other potential safety violations.
• Review and retrieve dashcam footage when incidents, complaints, or safety concerns are reported.
• Highlight and report any suspicious activities or non-compliance identified through dashcam monitoring.

Driver Behaviour & Safety Monitoring

• Monitor driver compliance with company driving rules, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Identify recurring unsafe driving patterns and report them to the relevant supervisors.
• Escalate serious driving violations, suspicious activities, and potential safety risks to management.
• Maintain records of driver violations and monitoring findings for further review and action.

Incident Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor GPS and dashcam systems for potential accidents, vehicle breakdowns, emergency situations, or unusual activities.
• Retrieve and compile relevant GPS records and dashcam footage to support incident investigations.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of reported incidents and monitoring activities.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet monitoring reports.
• Maintain records of vehicle movements, driver violations, route deviations, and other monitoring findings.
• Analyse fleet monitoring data to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all monitoring records and dashcam footage are properly maintained and accessible when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in fleet monitoring, GPS tracking, transport operations, or logistics is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, dashcam monitoring, or fleet management software is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of road safety and vehicle operations.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
• Able to analyse information, identify irregularities, and escalate issues promptly.
