About the Job

To manage, lead and oversee the Policy Conservation Unit and ensure achieving the set targeted Turn Around Time and Service Level Agreement for the department and organisation. To drive and lead the departmental and organisation key goals.

• Planning for and supervision of the unit to ensure consistency in service delivery and transactions are completed within expected response time.
• Responsible to create, encourage, promote and maintain an ongoing level of engagement within the department and inter-departments.
• Ensure all enquiries and complaint from customers (internal/ external), agents, and vendors are closely monitored to closure, understand its root cause & act to for prevention in the future.
• To keep up to date on the legislative, regulatory and Code of Conduct requirements including (not limited to), Financial Services Act, Industry Codes of Practices, Complaint Handling and Dispute Resolutions.
• Administer and review business rules and processing rules for the functional area in charged.
• Attend to internal and external audit.
• Preparation and submission of management reporting and/or regulatory reporting.
• As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation’s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization’s Core Values.
• Champion culture and conduct behavioural expectations within the Department/Division.
• To take on any other ad-hoc task or assignments assigned from superior or managements.

We are looking for people with

• Possess either Degree in Business Administrative, Finance, or any related field(s).
• Majoring in Insurance or Finance would be added advantage.
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience with 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory or managerial level.
• Leadership, Relationship Building & Management, Problem solving and decision making, Time management, Customer Service Orientation, Analytical Thinking, Cross Functional Knowledge.
• High level of integrity takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Demonstrates alignment with the organisation’s core values through expected behaviours.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
