Job Description: Support Offload, PC and CMP Operation

This role is generally related to production support, process control, and chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) in semiconductor manufacturing. The exact duties depend on the company and what it means by PC and CMP in its operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Offload

• Offload materials, wafers, products, or equipment safely according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Verify material identification, quantity, and process status.
• Maintain proper material handling and transfer records.
• Follow safety guidelines and prevent material damage or contamination.

2. PC Operation (Process Control / Production Control)

• Monitor production activities and ensure smooth workflow.
• Check process parameters and product quality according to specifications.
• Maintain production logs, shift reports, and operational records.
• Identify abnormalities and report issues to the supervisor or engineering team.

3. CMP Operation (Chemical Mechanical Planarization/Polishing)

• Operate CMP machines used for wafer polishing in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Load and unload wafers following approved handling procedures.
• Monitor polishing parameters, slurry supply, pressure, and machine status.
• Inspect wafers for defects and maintain cleanliness to prevent contamination.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report machine faults.

4. Safety and Quality

• Follow EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) standards and cleanroom protocols.
• Wear required PPE and follow contamination-control procedures.
• Maintain 5S workplace organization.
• Support troubleshooting, quality checks, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing or semiconductor processes.
• Ability to operate equipment and follow SOPs.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills and production documentation.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, if required.
• Teamwork, discipline, and safety awareness.
