Description

Pentas Flora Sdn Bhd is hiring a Process Engineer for our scheduled waste operations in Sarawak. You will monitor and improve plant performance, resolve technical issues and ensure our operations remain safe and compliant. You will work closely with the production team and other departments.

This position is open to Sarawakians and Sarawak-based candidates only.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance: analyze workflows and procedures, and prepare production reports
• Implement new or better plant operating processes
• Study production rate and cycle time, and reduce process downtime
• Conduct root-cause analysis on failures, and fix mechanical, electrical or software problems in the plant
• Prepare SOPs and ensure all work follows HSE and DOE requirements
• Plan processes according to demand and supply, and schedule maintenance or cleaning of plant machinery

Requirements

• Diploma in Process Engineering or a related engineering field
• Experience with data analysis tools or software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in wastewater or IETS operations is an added advantage
• Must be a Sarawakian or currently based in Sarawak
• Skills to add: Process Engineering, Wastewater Treatment, Root Cause Analysis, Data Analysis, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Environmental Compliance, Troubleshooting
