About the Role You will work with our sales team to understand customers’ IT requirements and design solutions we can propose, demonstrate and deliver. Our portfolio includes enterprise networking, firewalls, cybersecurity, servers, storage, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and cloud services. Key Responsibilities • Join customer meetings and site surveys to assess existing infrastructure, clarify requirements and identify technical risks. • Design and size solutions based on workload, capacity, security, compatibility and budget. • Prepare architecture diagrams, bills of materials and quantities, technical proposals and scopes of work. Document assumptions, dependencies and exclusions. • Review requests for proposals and tender specifications. Prepare compliance matrices, support responses with product documentation and flag gaps before submission. • Work with vendors and distributors to validate configurations, licensing, support coverage and product availability. • Present solutions to customers, run demonstrations and proofs of concept, and document the results against agreed success criteria. • Support technical clarifications during the sales process. After project award, brief the delivery team on the approved design, commitments and open issues. Requirements • Preferably 3–5 years of experience in IT presales, solutions engineering, implementation or a related technical role. • Hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity, server and HCI infrastructure, or cloud services. Familiarity with a second area is an advantage. • Able to prepare clear technical proposals, diagrams and equipment lists, and explain design choices to technical and business audiences. • Experience with enterprise, government or GLC tenders is an advantage. • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant vendor certifications are an advantage. • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia and travel for customer meetings and site visits.
