POSITION 1: Device42 Consultant

Salary: RM 8,000–10,000 per month

Job Summary

The Tester will validate software applications against defined business requirements and ensure that defects are identified, documented, and resolved before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements and prepare test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
• Verify application workflows, data validation, and business rules.
• Record defects with clear steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
• Retest resolved defects and confirm expected functionality.
• Maintain test execution records and report testing progress.
• Coordinate with developers and senior QA team members.
• Follow established testing procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Understanding of manual testing techniques and the software development life cycle.
• Ability to prepare test cases and defect reports.
• Familiarity with Jira or other defect tracking tools.
• Basic SQL, API testing, or Agile knowledge is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
