Our client is a leading technology platform, global and with a significant team and operational footprint in Asia. This is a new role to join a growing team and reporting directly into the Legal Director / VP.

Job Description

• This is a new and exciting role to support two fast growing business units.
• You will focus on new technology adoption, innovation / products, and regulatory integration.
• You will act in an advisory capacity (with strong technical knowledge) to product focused teams, managing complex regulatory landscapes across the APAC region.
• New technology such as AI and blockchain platforms will face cross-border challenges and regulatory obstacles, your role (with the help of in-country counsel / external vendors) will be to anticipate and predict ahead of time where resources should be allocated to overcome short - midterm challenges.

Requirements

• PQE: 8 to 12
• Tier 1 Law background
• Regulatory background - essential
• Experience across Fintech platforms with a focus on AI and blockchain - desirable
• Ability to work in a fast paced, growing business unit and carefully balance relationships across a matrix organisation - essential
• Integrity and communication skills should be at the highest level
