Responsibilities:

New Product Qualification and Certification

• Develop product qualification plan and procedures
• Coordinate internally and with external lab to execute qualification test plan.
• Report results to customer and follow up internally for improvements.
• Obtain regulatory and safety marks such as FCC, IC, CE and UL marks for new products

Reliability Planning and Growth

• Build prediction model based on component specs and Bill of Material.
• Liaise with Engineering to improve reliability prediction, and grow product reliability during design phase
• Use tools such as prediction standards, FMEA, FMECA to reduce product risk

Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)

• Conduct and report ORT
• Monitor field returns and report MTBF

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering field is an advantage
• Experience in regulatory testing and certification (FCC, IC, CE, UL) is an advantage
• Experience in Reliability Prediction, FMEA and Hazard Analysis is an advantage.
• Experience in developing qualification plan and procedures according to international standards is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in reliability, regulatory and workmanship standards such as IPC, IEC, ISTA, ESTN, IDA, CENELEC, MIL-STD, etc is an advantage.
