Accounts Executive – Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

• 4 Months Contract
• (Hybrid 1-2 day working from Office / Walking distance - easy access to public transport)

Job Responsibilities

• Verify and process supplier invoices and staff claims, ensuring payments are properly made, recorded, and accounted for.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system within the required timelines.
• Prepare customer invoices and ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in the accounting system.
• Maintain and update notes to accounts on a timely basis.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and promptly resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and tax requirements, internal controls, governance policies, and company guidelines.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other relevant parties.
• Support ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a consultancy environment, a major audit firm, or project accounting would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of direct and indirect taxation would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with accounting systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
