About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Consultant to support the design, development, enhancement, and optimization of SAP BW/4HANA solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and internal technical teams, from requirements gathering and data modelling through testing, go-live, operational support, and knowledge transfer.

Must-have Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with SAP BW.
• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence, data warehousing, and data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA and/or BW on HANA.
• Good ABAP skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative and proactive approach, with an interest in taking technical leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Design, build, and enhance SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, data flows, and related objects.
• Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions in line with architecture standards and best practices.
• Analyze and optimize the performance of data models, data loads, transformations, and reporting processes.
• Implement enhancements and changes while ensuring system stability and backward compatibility.
• Prepare and execute unit, integration, and UAT testing and support business users during validation.
• Provide operational support, including handling ServiceNow incidents and requests, and monitor data pipelines to ensure system stability.
• Support go-live activities and provide agreed post-go-live hypercare.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data models, data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and operational procedures.
• Provide mandatory knowledge transfer to the internal BW team through regular technical and functional sessions, solution walkthroughs, documentation, and handover activities
