Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team as a Finance Specialist where you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and supporting daily accounting operations, contributing to organisational success.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly or periodic reports for the Japanese stakeholders in the related Unit or Division in Japan Head Office
• Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries and system operations.
• Monitor and report on updates to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and relevant laws.
• Liaise with external consultants to prepare annual transfer pricing documentation.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns and daily regulatory compliance reports.
• Prepare statutory accounts, corporate tax schedules, management accounts, and MAS regulatory reports.
• Update procedure manuals and implement new processes as required.
• Execute any other ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, or equivalent knowledge of banking products and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in verbal and written skills in both English and Japanese to work closely with Japanese stakeholders in the related Unit or Division in Japan Head Office
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
